ABB Breakthrough Win Award for Batenburg IAS
At the ABB EMEA Partner Conference in Prague on 22 and 23 October 2014, Batenburg IAS was presented with a ABB Breakthrough Win award by Tobias Becker, CEO and Global Business Unit Manager of ABB Control Technologies. Batenburg IAS received this award for its work in implementing System 800xA for Milcobel, in competition with PCS7.
Karel Walinga, partner and manager of ABB in the Netherlands, relates: “At the annual European Partner Event, the ‘Breakthrough’ award was presented. This award is presented for a project in which a client’s standard is excelled by an ABB partner. The recipient of the award this year was our ABB PA partner Batenburg IAS from Zundert, because Ron de Bruijn and his staff successfully implemented the ABB 800xA DCS system for a big dairy client instead of the current industry standard, the Siemens PCS7.”
Ron de Bruijn, director of Batenburg IAS: “We are of course extremely proud of this recognition! It is good to see that the quality and added value are appreciated not only by the client but also by the supplier. The collaboration with ABB for this project went perfectly and helped contribute to the success of the project.”
Batenburg IAS has now implemented three major projects with ABB System 800xA for Milcobel, including the new mozzarella line for Milcobel Langemarck, which was commissioned this year. Further projects will follow in the future.
