Seeking a reliable partner
Water board Rijn en IJssel standardized on ABB System 800xA, currently managing a total of thirteen wastewater treatment plants and one hundred seventeen sewage pumping stations using this system. To manage these installations, they are forming a framework agreement together with a partner. As the contract with the current partner was expiring, an open public tender was initiated, allowing other parties to bid for this framework agreement. The goal of the new contract is to find a dependable partner for the system that automates the wastewater chain. This partner will handle software modifications, conduct maintenance, collaborate on executing software modifications for projects, and contribute to the ongoing development of the Standard Process Automation.

Batenburg IAS as the partner
Batenburg IAS possesses extensive experience in the water sector and currently serves as a partner in process automation for multiple water authorities in the Netherlands. Additionally, Batenburg IAS has been a long-standing partner of ABB, including ABB System 800xA. During the tender process by Water board Rijn and IJssel, Batenburg IAS proved to be the right partner for this water authority as well. Consequently, the water authority decided to award the framework agreement to Batenburg IAS for the next five years.

Batenburg IAS is extremely proud of the trust placed in us by Water board Rijn and IJssel and looks forward to a successful collaboration.
